On October 20, the Korean Business Research Institute released the latest top female Kpop idol rankings, with Jennie from BLACKPINK claiming the top spot. October 2024: Top 100 Individual Kpop Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute collected 135,672,895 brand big data of 680 girl group members from September 20 to October 20, 2024. Compared to 100,242,961 brand big data of individual female Kpop idols in September, it increased by 35.34%.
Furthermore, they used the latest brand big data for consumer behavior analysis to measure the girl group member brands’ participation, media, communication, and community indexes to obtain their brand reputation indexes. Finally, the institute compiled the brand reputation index of female Kpop idols to determine the latest brand reputation rankings.
According to the analysis results, Jennie of BLACKPINK, Karina of aespa, Jang Won of Young, Lisa of BLACKPINK, and Hwasa of MAMAMOO dominated October’s top five female Kpop idols. Find below the top 30 female Kpop idol rankings from August to October 2024.

1. BLACKPINK Jennie
Jennie of BLACKPINK, who recently released a powerful new solo song, “Mantra,” topped the individual Kpop girl group brand reputation rankings in October 2024. Jennie’s October brand reputation index experienced a staggering increase of 409.24 percent. It soared from 2,782,844 in September to 14,171,467, with the following breakdown:
- Participation Index: 2,428,883
- Media Index: 3,383,206
- Communication Index: 3,647,643
- Community Index: 4,711,735
2. aespa Karina
Karina of aespa, who recently released her debut solo song “UP,” fell to the second position this month. Despite dropping in rank, the female idol’s brand reputation index slightly rose by 3.52 percent, from 6,512,050 in September to 6,741,019 in October. Based on the analysis, the idol earned the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 1,749,483
- Media Index: 1,609,976
- Communication Index: 1,772,136
- Community Index: 1,609,425
3 IVE Jang Won Young
Jang Won Young of IVE, who always stuns fans with her fashion style, dropped this month to the third position on the female idol rankings. However, her brand reputation index saw a slight increase of 5.60 percent, rising from 5,878,590 in September to 6,207,794 in October, with the following breakdown:
- Participation Index: 1,671,809
- Media Index: 1,544,261
- Communication Index: 1,578,908
- Community Index: 1,412,816
4 BLACKPINK Lisa
Lisa of BLACKPINK, who made waves with her jaw-dropping performance in Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024, skyrocketed to fourth place. The singer’s brand reputation index saw an outstanding increase of 953.80 percent, rising from 478,664 in September to 5,044,161 in October. Based on the analysis, the singer obtained the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 261,670
- Media Index: 588,268
- Communication Index: 1,317,802
- Community Index: 2,876,422
5 MAMAMOO Hwasa
Hwasa of MAMAMOO, who recently released a new mini album, “O,” soared to the fifth position this month. The singer’s brand reputation index experienced a staggering increase of 728.83 percent, boosting from 577,578 in September to 4,787,159 in October, with the following breakdown:
- Participation Index: 747,751
- Media Index: 484,851
- Communication Index: 1,668,078
