BTS Continues to Top Kpop Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings in May 2023

The Korean Business Research Institute has collected and analyzed 50,858,084 boy group big data from April 13 to May 13, 2023. Compared to 51,828,998 boy group big data in April, it decreased by 1.87 percent.

BTS maintained to top the list for the 60th consecutive month in May 2023. The boy band’s brand value increased by 5.32 percent to 9,949,491 this month.

For the link analysis, BTS’ popular related terms were “publish, break through, and print.” Meanwhile, the BTS’ popular phrases were “memoir, Jimin, and stamp.” In addition, BTS achieved a positive rate of 87.50 percent in the positive-negative analysis.

SEVENTEEN held on to second place with an impressive 73.14 percent increase in brand value to 5,045,808 for the month. EXO also remained in third place this month. Their brand value increased by 19.98 from last month to 2,800,840.

NCT climbed to fourth place this month with a brand value of 2,698,772. Compared to last month, the group’s brand value increased by 32.76 percent. Finally, BtoB completed the top five this month with a brand value of 2,136,822, marking an increase of 7.95 percent from last month.
