Previously, BLACKPINK Jennie broke the internet when Grimes posted a photo of the two posing in front of a rocket. Recently, she shocked fans with her appearance in Grimes’ latest music video teaser. And now we can watch BLACKPINK Jennie hit hyperspace with Grimes in the ‘Shinigami Eyes’ MV. Is there any possibility for them to collab further?

On January 25, Grimes dropped the teaser for her latest single, ‘Shinigami Eyes,’ and Jennie appeared next to Grimes. Moreover, Grimes also tagged Jennie in her Instagram post, thanking everyone who worked on the video.

“We did a very ambitious video basically doing a bunch of stuff no one’s ever done before and therefore the editing process has been extremely fraught but we’re getting there – it’s just literally new technology being used in an untested context so trial/error.”

Many fans hope that Jennie will collaborate with the Canadian singer. However, it seemed that Jennie was only featured in the music video, but not in the song this time. BLACKPINK Jennie appeared in the middle of the music video with Grimes donning a crystal petal bra by David Koma, worth USD 2,037, with a pink jacket and matching pants.

Is there a possibility for Grimes x BLACKPINK Jennie Further Collaboration?

As of writing, there’s no official news about the further collaboration of Grimes and BLACKPINK Jennie. However, in a previous interview, Grimes said that she might retire eventually from making music.

“The iron grasp is getting really tight. Whereas I feel like in gaming or crypto or all these other things, there’s just this excessive freedom that sort of seems to be increasing. I don’t know. Because they’re newer ideas, there’s just less of a legacy of legal chokehold.”
