A Guide for New ARMY: BTS Festa and BTS Muster

It might be confusing seeing ‘BTS Festa’ and ‘BTS Muster’ comes over your Google search or on your Twitter trending topic without knowing what they are. What are those things? Relax, we get your back!

For ARMY (BTS fans), BTS Festa is something worth waiting for every year. However, if you are not an ARMY (yet) or a new ARMY, it might be your first experience joining the crowd.

What’s the difference between BTS Festa and BTS Muster?

What is BTS Festa?

BTS Festa is a celebration of the debut anniversary of the South Korean Kpop boy group, BTS. They usually kick off the celebration at the beginning of June and end it with something special on their anniversary date, June 13. During those days, ARMY (fans of BTS) are provided with exclusive Bangtan content.

What is BTS Muster?

Meanwhile, BTS Muster is a concert and fan meetup, which usually takes place for two days. The concert, unlike their tour concerts, is time to perform old and new songs, or even BTS B-side tracks. Each Muster comes with a specific, unique name. The last one was in 2019 and inspired by the song ‘Magic Shop.’

The event is ideally held as an in-person event, where the idols can meet their fans in person. BTS members will have fun activities and interaction with and for fans in addition to the concert. However, due to COVID-19, they will hold their muster online.

When is BTS Festa & BTS Muster 2021?

Started with an opening ceremony, BTS Festa 2021 is officially started on June 02. The septet posted some series of their family portrait from the formal to fun ones on day one. They then go on with one activity each day until they reach the BTS anniversary date.

The major event of BTS Festa 2021 is called BTS Muster Sowoozoo, which is held on June 13 and 14. ‘Sowoozoo’ is the Korean title for BTS song ‘Mikrokosmos’. You can purchase the online BTS Muster Sowoozoo tickets via the Weverse shop.
