Big Hit Entertainment has officially partnered with American video technology startup, Kiswe Mobile. The ARMY will directly experience the cooperation on a dynamic live-streaming BTS concert Bang Bang Con The Live right from their comfortable room.
Big Hit Entertainment Signs MoU with Kiswe Mobile
On June 8, Big Hit Entertainment’s CEO Yoon Seok-Joon, Kiswe’s President and Founder Jeong Hun Kim, and Kiswe’s Chief Executive Officer & President Mike Shabel have signed an MoU for a strategic partnership. This partnership is for BTS Bang Bang Con: The Live concert that will be held on June 14, 2020.
This is not their first cooperation holding a live-streaming event. In December 2019, Big Hit Entertainment had cooperation with Seoul-based company,TheLIVE, to live-stream BTS concert and fan meeting in Osaka.
For those who could not come to the Osaka’s Kyocera Dome were able to watch it through a live-stream provided by TheLive.
The technology used by TheLive is the innovation technology by Kiswe Mobile.
Kiswe Mobile that established in 2013 is a startup company with $1 million in funding. Located in Murray Hill, New Jersey, United States, three founders of the company are Jeong Hun Kim, Wim Sweldens, and Jimmy Lyn.
Its specialty is on innovation technology in live
streams, Cloudcast. Cloudcast transforms
a single broadcast into multiple narrowcasts that could bring what each
audience wants to see from the available multi-screen. Initially, it is used to
watch live sports and create an interactive video that integrates commentators
from around the world.
Remote technology is one of the solutions for the situation that we have right now. During the home quarantine, live-streaming in many fields like sports, music concerts, and meetings have become a new normal.
All you need is a laptop or computer, a headset, and an
essential matter is to have a steady network. You do not need to install any
