BTS Members Favorite Perfumes, Have You Tried?

People are asking how Kpop idols smell and what perfumes they use. Fans can hear their voices, see their appearance, but hard to experience how Kpop idols smell. 1. BTS Jin Perfume

One of BTS Jin’s favorite perfumes is Diptyque Philosykos, which is suitable both for women and men. Wooded and racy, the nourishing accents from its bark and luxuriant foliage envelop the scent. Base notes: fig tree, woody notes, and cedar; middle notes: green notes and coconut; top notes: fig leaf and fig.

2. BTS Suga Perfume

From BTS V-Live D-2, we can see four kinds of perfumes on Suga’s shelf:

Boy Chanel

Boy Chanel uses coumarin heliotrope, sandalwood, vanilla moss, and white musk for the base notes. The middle notes of Boy Chanel consist of geranium, orange blossom, and rose, and topped with grapefruit, lavender, and lemon. We can imagine how sweet the smell when Suga applies Boy Chanel.

Paco Rabanne Invictus

Next is the sporty and fresh Paco Rabanne Invictus. Base notes: ambergris, patchouli, oakmoss, guaiac wood; middle notes: jasmine, bay leaf; top notes: grapefruit, marine Accord, mandarin orange.

John Varvatos Artisan

The third perfume is John Varvatos Artisan, which smells very citrusy, spicy, floral, and woodsy at the same time. Base notes: kephalis, Georgy wood, belambre, and serenolid; middle notes: North African orange tree blossom, Indian murraya, orange jasmine tree, ginger extract; meanwhile, the top notes are Sicilian clementine, tangelo, Mexican tangerine, aromatic thyme, marjoram, and Greek lavender.

Viktor and Rolf Spice Bomb

As its name, Spice Bomb, it has warming spicy smells. Base notes: leather, tobacco, vetiver; middle notes: paprika, cinnamon, saffron; top notes: elemi, pink pepper, grapefruit, bergamot.

3. BTS Jimin Perfume

One of Jimin’s favorite perfume is Orange Blossom by Jo Malone. Its romantic floral scent is suitable for sweet Jimin! Base notes: iris and vetiver; middle notes: orange blossom, lilac, water lily; top notes: tangerine blossom. Based on Jo Malone’s website, Orange Blossom by Jo Malone can also be combined with White Jasmine & Mint or Blue Agava & Cacao.

4. BTS Jungkook Perfume

6. BTS J-Hope Perfume

J-Hope loves the woody fragrance from Terre d’Hermès. Cited from fragrantica, Terre d’Hermès is a metaphor for materials, a matrix that speaks of territory as well as matter, earth, and roots. Base notes: vetiver, cedar, patchouli, and benzoin; middle notes: pepper and pelargonium; top notes: orange and grapefruit.

7. BTS RM Perfume

In an interview for Cèci, RM said, “In general, I don’t like heavy and artificial scents. I like light and natural scents.” RM has mentioned in one of his V Live that he loves the smell of body lotion, like Chanel Body Lotion no 5. It has a combination of rose and jasmine aroma.
